Looks and Sex Sells...

Does the whole world have to sell their products with a woman showing skin?
Well apparently Sports Illustrated has to. They hardly ever put a natural sport on the cover, this is because they find their price ratings low when a sport is on the cover. But when a woman in a bikini is on the cover, about to reveal some nudity their price is through the roof. Women tend to have nothing to do with the product, it is just use for attention. Why does sex give such curiousity? It is because if the media is doing this, then ofcourse someone else will copy them if the media is suceeding with their advertisements. Media influences sex for the purpose of great use. Which is funny because they need goodlooking people to sell their product.

Even the News needs to get average looking people, so people watch their show and gets all the updates. Women tend to be more exploit then men. Gender does not matter, just the way the product is sold with the idea of sex can unacceptable. Its only acceptable for the desire of the advertisement. Advertisers take a risk of offending viewers, but at the same time trying to accomplish their publicty.

Wanna be rich? or die trying?

Personally i would like to be rich, but saving money for me is hard! I try to spend money for the things i need more then just the things i want. But if I am out, and the people I am with are spending money for themselves, I tend to persuade myself that it is okay and I will just mooch off money from my parents later.

Some ways you can save is by putting expenses first. That way you can take care of important issues. Put a bit of money into a savings account with high interest like 10%. So in 7 years or so you double your money. Have one account that allows you to have some more money from your income. You will probably have to pay taxes when you take the money out. But if you take a high amount it wont matter as much, because you still will be making a lot of money.Well also depending what career you persue in. If your not afraid of taking risks, you can play the stocks. But you should let a banker do it, so you don't have any problems.

Some ways you can try making money is buying a scratch ticket or taking a chance at the lottery. I am sure if someone won the lottery they wouldn't save too much. They would be too excited and blow it on what they may always wanted. I see that all the time. Some other ideas to saving, is looking at the deals and bargains depending on what you want. I really wish there was such a thing as a "money tree" how sick would that be! But im sure if that did exsist everyone would become greedy.

The Crianna Drama

Crianna, ( Chris Brown and Rhianna) are catching the public's attention. Brown apparently assaulted her, after Rhianna threw the car keys out the window. Brown lost his temper and gave Rhianna black and blue marks all over her face. Which is a source from TMZ. I wouldn't say TMZ is a reliable source because anyone could of photoshopped the photo, its that easy. But now since there are updates about Rhianna, im thinking some of it may be true. I am very surprised Brown would even think about laying a finger on Rhianna. Everyone knows shes a sweet genuine girl. But now a days, if a girl shows a guy up, they think its alright to prove it. NOT! Just thinking about makes me disgusted.


Rhianna needs to take a stand to all her fans and show the strong person she is, on the inside. She is obviously a role model to many people. I have seen a couple shows with her on them, and she doesn't seem like a hesitant person. But now since i found out she took Brown back, it is shocking and retarded. Rhianna is making a statement, that being beat up and then going back to her boyfriend is okay. All is forgiven. That is the wrong move to make, for a guy you thought cared about you and then physically assaulted you. This is just saying " I am weak" in a way to taking him back. Rhianna won't be looked the same as before by her fans. It is actually pretty sad. Her status is definately going down. If Brown really loved her, he would go behind bars for her. He should be ashamed of himself. If this can happen once to her, it can happen again. Maybe twice as bad. Anything can happen to one of her fans, based on this impact. What she did was obviously really immature and stupid and irresponsible. There are many fish in the sea! WAKE UP.

Has Rihanna just lost it? Putting up nude pictures of herself. She is becoming like Spears, in a way. Where she is becoming a sexualized object. Could she just be doin it for the media? Or is she becoming a porn star now? Rihanna is actually becoming a disgrace to woman. She is disrespecting her body. Not only that, she is sending her nude pictures to the man that beat her up. I don't call that love. Chris Brown has been accused of putting up the pictures, but he has denied that he is not the one behind it. Rihanna should move on with her life, Brown isn't worth her time and energy if hes just going to ruin her image. But Rihanna is now doing that on her own.

Diversity matters

Diversity matters because it shows the ethnic groups they produce throughout media. Most research on the effects of television diversity focuses on the way that portrayals of people of colour, or the lack thereof, affect the self concept and self-esteem of people of colour. People don't really notice the media is doing this because all they care about is their audience and money. The majority of ethnicity on the news is white. The odd time there will be other ethnic groups, but white is more dominated. Aboriginal is second dominated, for stero-typed reasons. I notice some difference, but not too much. There starting to show more ethnic groups, but it is only stero-typical. For exaThey still show black people as "gangsters" and as "bad people" They don't show them as normal people. I am not sure if this is ever going to change but it should. Stereotyping religeons is just ignorant. When is someone going to take recognition to this matter? Another example is the Jessica Lynch case where Jessica got publicity and Shoshana Johnson did not. She was captured as well, where is her story? Johnson's parents accused the army of a double standard in sensitivity and rascism. The governement needs to take more action, that is what they are there for. To take part in the issues of the world.
